Appearance wise, from first glance Yosen shows of some of his families deep routes to the land of the wind and the village of the sand. This being due to the fact that his skin is one of the most defining things about him, as like many in his family and of the dessert. Yosen’s skins is of a bronze color similar to that of copper. A tone of skin that can not only easily help one hide in the terrains of the dessert, but also help in the defense of the suns rays. Next to his skin, Yosen’s height would be the next thing that one could to notice about him. As he can easily be considered tall as he stands at a height of around six feet, and 3 inches tall. A height that fits well with Yosen’s weight and body tone, with Yosen weighing about two hundred and twenty pounds, with a slim muscular physic that can really be seen with his broad shoulders.

Yosen’s hair is probably the third thing that most will notice about him, as it is a jet black color, that is just a black and dark as Ink, and almost blends into the night. Style wise Yosen keeps his hair in locs that come down to his shoulders when left to hang freely. Though usually Yosen will keep his hair wrapped behind him into a ponytail with a special band so that his hair is better out of his face and not a distraction during combat. Facial feature wise, Yosen has a very straight forward face that is said to be attractive by many, as it fits his glasses and him quite well. The fourth thing that most will notice about Yosen in the glasses that he is always seen wearing, though he does tend to change between a black and white pair. You will vary rarely catch Yosen without his glasses with them being one of his main accessories. These glasses are special made and completely block one from being able to see the amber colored eyes of Yosen.

Clothing wise, Yosen is said to dress quite simple as he is not one for much flair. As he will normally be seen in similar form of dress on most occasions. With his normal outfit being a white shitagi, and black kosode with a flat jacket underneath and a large brown cloak that blends in with the sand of suna over him. Though Yosen does show some since of fashion with his main clothing accessory that he always has on, a large orange scarf that he usually has around his neck or intertwined with his hair in some sort of way.

Yosen is one who is not for many words, most times feeling that his actions speak way louder than anything he or anyone else could possibly speak. As Yosen knows that words have a tendency, and great history off being slightly deceitful or filled with false truths. And deceit is not something that Yosen is very fond of. As he sees no honor in being deceitful to those he trust or call his people. And considering the fact that Yosen is the type of person who is straightforward with just about everything that he does. Letting any and everyone knows how he feels about them straight off the bat if the situation calls for it. As Yosen has been known to speak in the most random but dire of times when no one els will.

Honor and respect are two of the biggest virtues to Yosen, and something that he makes sure to show not only his peers, but the world around him in all his actions. As Yosen understands that one most only give honor and respect to their own people, but they enemy as well. Since even during times of war, one must still have virtues that they uphold. And Yosen will always make sure that he keeps his honor during battle even during the most dire times of war, and make sure to respect and never underestimate any opponent that might cross his blade.

Yosen is known for being one who is quite observant in not only making sure to notice the small details into things and people around him. But one who is also observant of the mood and tension in the room, knowing that being able to read key details like that could be important in any situation.

Weaponry and the art of the sword is the one true love of Yosen, having fell in love with the art of the blade in his childhood days. The art of the blade is one of the most important things to Yosen to the point that he even found himself going against his clans normal traditions and practices  to spend more of his time to better himself in the art of the sword, so that he may potentially master as many styles as possible. With Yosen loving to show of his skill with the blade, as being one of the few things that can bring a smile to his face. Especially when he gets to show off his skills to his fellow clansmen that tend to look down on the art of the blade, an prefer to focus more in the arts of the family. As those in the clan that doubt the strength of the blade drive Yosen even more to develop his style in the face of those around him, to show that he has what it takes to live up to the reputation of the clan.

Being Calm minded is one of the main things that most notice about Yosen’s personality, as it is one of the main things most tend to remember about him. As most know that Yosen is quite calm, and collect and one who never tends to let things get to his head no matter the situation. With Yosen not being one to anger quick or even show those around him his emotional state for that matter, knowing that he must stay in control of himself at all times. The most known thing about Yosen’s personality to those that happen to frequent around him is that he is a loner. As Yosen is one who prefers to handle most of not all of his own situations by himself, and stay away from most large crowds and gatherings, as he is one who can usually be found hidden in the back avoiding as much attention as possible.

999 – Birth: Dessert Baby
Yosen was born deep in the land of wind on the outskirts of the village of Suna in the year 999 on a late hot summer night in the month of march. He would be born to a young Senshi of the clan named Oda Kyokujitsu, and a young woman his father found lost in the dessert one day namde Asuna who would later become his wife. Yosen’s birth would be nine years after the third ninja war that had been started by the Kazekage of Suna  finally managed to come to a end. Though Yosen’s birth would not be a complete normal one as he was born to the Kyokujitsu family during the time that the clan had taken it upon itself to hide deep in the desserts and away from the Kazekage of the village due to wanting to refrain from joining the third ninja war. This meant that most of Yosen’s youngest days where spent in the shelter of his clan as they constantly navigated through the dessert to avert the Kazekage. And many would say that the harsh desserts of the land of wind are no place for a child to be raised, but the Kyokujitsu clan made the best of it as they all did their part to not only protect and provide for one another, but to make sure that the younger knew nothing of the greater problems the clan faced.



1004 Dessert Days [5]
When Yosen was at the age of five years old he and the Kyokujitsu clan where still constantly moving through the dessert as a nomad clan, which meant that Yosen and many others of the clan had to learn to live and survive in the harsh dessert at a young age, something that would completely shape and mold Yosen for the rest of his days. As like many young children Yosen had a knack of running of and getting into trouble with the rest of the youth of the Kyokujitsu clan, though one day he and a few of the other youth would find themselves wandering of from the main group of the clan, and near some baby sand warms. This would lead to Yosen and several other children ranging from the ages of about ten to five stuck inside of  a small cave they managed to find in the dessert away from the breeding ground of sand warms they had accidentally stumbled upon. Yosen and his fellow Kyokujitsu clansmen would be stuck inside of this cave for several days with no food and water, and only a small array of Kunai and ninja stars that two of the older boys had managed to sneak off. During this time Yosen would come to learn and love the feel of holding and using the kunai, as he had a natural skill with the blade. A skill that Yosen would demonstrate one night when he was left on guard duty for the group and fent them off from a small dessert fox that tried to come and drag off one of the smaller children.

After almost a week of Yosen and the other children being stuck inside of the cave on the worms mating ground, they would eventually be found by Oda and a group of the clans Senshi who had been looking for the children since the discovery of them being missing. Upone Oda and the Senshi bringing the children back to the rest of the clan, they would hear the stories from the boys and listen to how they survived the long nights in the dessert alone away from the clan. Oda would quickly learn through many of the children and their stories that Yosen was a big reason for their survival and his natural skill with the blade as well as his instinct to protect those of his clan. Learning this upon returning the children to the campsite of the clan, Oda would instantly start training Yosen to use basic ninja tools like kunai and shuriken. A task would that would prove to be easier then Oda ever imagined.











1006 The Move [7]
When Yosen turned the age of 7, was when a lot of things would start to change for the Kyokujitsu clan. Since even though the war had ended years prior, the clan had still stayed in hiding in the desserts of the land of the wind, and never venturing to close to the village of Suna unless covertly due to still being considered to have betrayed the village and the lands of wind by the past Kazekage who was killed in the conflict of the Ame Suna pipeline war. But upon election of the fourth Kazekage, all of this would change, as not only would he and the clan elders come to an agreement, he would also bestow upon them land and other things so that they could finally choose the nomad life of the dessert if they so pleased. An Offer that Yosen’s father Oda would quickly take as he moved the family to the town of Ryumyaku, a town that wast to far from the villlage of Suna, and one that focused in the gold trade that the Kyokujitsu had been gifted by the new Kazekage.

During this time Oda would be quite busy and unable to personally train Yosen himself due to the the demand of his new role in the clan. So during this time Yosen would spend his days between running around the town of Ryumyaku with the few other young members of the Kyokujitsu clan that called the village home, and training with what ever of the older members of the clan would have time for him that day. This would lead to Yosen starting to learn quite a few different skills from different Senshi of the Kyokujitsu clan. As Yosen was more then start to show that he had inherited the clans talents and skills and was well on his way to becoming a great Senshi for the Kyokujitsu clan.



1007 – 1009 Academy Days [8-10]
Only a year after moving to the town of Ryumykaku, Yosen would once again get another change of scenery even though he was still staying in the land of the wind, Yosen would for the first time ever finally get to go and see the great hidden village of the land wind Sunagakure. At this time Oda would move Yosen to the village to stay with other members of the Kyokujitsu clan so that Yosen could attend the village academy. Though Yosen would only be at the age of eight at his time of entering the academy, he would instantly show that he had potential to become a great ninja for the land of wind.

Yosen’s years of previously training with the Senshi of the Kyokujitsu clan could instantly be seen when Yosen stepped into the Suna ninja academy, as not only was he already up showing the few young students near his age In the academy, but he also competing with and surpassing some of the students far older then him in the academy. Especially when it came down to lessons that included things like kunai and shuriken, as Yosen already showed a natural talent for all things buki.

Yosen’s time at the academy would be rather short compared to some though he and many of the Kyokujitsu members that entered the academy around the same time he did all seemed to accel rather quickly in the academy, as many suspected having been born and raised in the harsh desserts of the land of wind harden many of the the clans youth and brought upon them many youth that where naturally ahead of those born inside the safety of the towns and villages in the land of wind. As two years would be the total amount of time that it took for Yosen to get himself promoted to the rank of Genin and be assigned to his first squad.

1010-1012 Genin Days [10-13]
Yosen would manage to become a Genin at the age of ten years old, shortly before he turned the age of eleven and got his actual first squad assignment. He would be assigned to a squad that was nicknamed squad dessert, for their sensei having a natural knack of patrolling the dessert, as well as he having them spend most of their years with him learning to patrol the dessert as well. On Squad dessert Yosen would be under Sensei Yori Chikamatsu, a member of one of the most prominent clans in the land of wind, having been the home clan of two of the previous Kazekages, as well as one of the oldest clans in the land. Yori and Yosen would be at odds at first with Yori coming from the clan that hailed the Kazekage that Yosen’s clan the Kyokujitsu would end up having to spends years hiding from. But once Yori was able to crack Yosen’s hard outer shell he was able to make a relationship with the young boy and bring him in with his other students. Yu of the great Aiel clan, and Neti of the Oonakyme, both clans well respected in the village of Suna.

For his first year or so Yosen would have a hard time managing to fit in with his fellow squad mates, though he knew they were talented just as he was he didint understand their way of combat something Yori spent many of days try to get them In sync with one another. Something that would not finally click until he had the squad on a rather simple gathering mission in the dessert that took the turn for the worst, as they were hit by a unexpected sandstorm that came on them quicker then they could prepare, but with Yori’s command and the use of team work Yosen and his squad were able to ride out the storm, and see a little more into each others true potential. This would lead to Yosen and the rest finally starting to bond and get stronger as a team under Yori. Squad dessert would spend the next few years under Yori strengthening their skills and learning the ins and outs of the Land of winds desserts as Yori still had them take missions primarly in the desserts around Suna so that they could better learn it.

After three years under Yori when Yosen was the age of thirteen would he and his squad be permitted to participate in the Chunnin exams that where coming up. Though at first his fellow members had doubts if they were truly ready, Yori would convince them all with one final training to showcase all they learned in the years training and studying under him in the great desserts of the land of wind. Upon convincing from their sensei Yosen and the rest of squad dessert would proceed to all take the exam and pass with flying colors, as they showed cased their skills to not only the village of Suna but all those in attendance.

1013-1015  Sapper Corps [13- 16]
Upon being promoted to the rank of Chuunin Yosen was asked to join the ranks of the Sapper corps. A position that Yosen was first skeptical about as it would mean leaving his two fellow squad mates and having to find that team bond all over again. Something his father Oda assured him that he would have to come accustom to if he expected to have a long life as a ninja. But after his conversation with his father Yosen would accept his new position among the Sapper corps and start his new task for the village. During this time Yosen would mainly be doing recon and scouting among the borders of the land of wind, and through the years Yosen soon come to be respected as one of the best scouts and guides of the Boneway. As during Yosen’s time in the sapper corp he would learn to completely feel at home in the desert, especially when he found himself roaming the Boneway as it became his home away from home.

1016-1023 Welcome to the Anbu  [17-25]
Around the age of seveteen Yosen would be approached by his old sensei with an offer of a life time, as Yori had offered Yosen a chance to join the Suna Anbu blackops if he could succeed with a specific task of making sure a certain person never made it across the other side of the Boneway once they found themselves in the land of wind. A task that Yosen was able to complete with ease with no ninja in the land of wind knowing the Bonespire like he did. Upon completion of the mission Yosen would leave the Sapper corps and  join the ranks of the Anbu black ops where he would proceed to help the village by being one of its main dessert scouts constantly patrolling the boarder for any possible mishaps or break ins from rival villages.

1023 The Present day: [25]

Having spent the last several years as a member of the Anbu black ops, doing a variety of work for the village Yosen has finally found himself being promoted for all of his hard work. Having now become the head of Anbu black ops Yosen has found his work in the village increased drastically with now being the main one to motor all of the other villages and make sure that the kazekage was clear of any espionage.

Chakra Control – Hailing from the Kyokujitsu clan Yosen was naturally born with a high chakra control like many members of his clan. This high chakra control was further increased through all the intense dessert training that the Kyokujitsu have its clan members under go to better be able to control the scorching heats that come along with their clans kkg. Thus allowing for Tosen to have master control over his chakra and being able to minimize the amount he must utilize on jutsu while still having master control of them.

Shakuton – Yosen is one of the few in the Kyokujitsu clan that was born with the true power of the clan from the days long past. As Yosen has inherited the clan ability to be able to combine both his Katon and futon release to form the famed Shakuton Scorch release. Allowing for Yosen to not only have strength with combating the water element, but being able to control where heat is dispersed from his Shakuton attacks.  As Yosen has manged to master his jutsu of the Shakuton release


Enhanced Speed: Having focused his training on the arts of weaponry since a young age, Yosen has managed to push himself again and again to better himself with the art of the blade. This training has allowed for Yosen to constantly gain in speed and allow for him to be extremely fast and agile when he moves.  And making him fast in almost every action he takes rather it be a simple or complex movement.

Silent Killing – Having spent many years in the dessert training to spy and observe those on the Boneway in the land of the wind, Yosen learned to conceal himself and move with the silence of night, a skill of his that was only further approved when Yosen started his Anbu training . Allowing for him to truly learn to become one with his surroundings and stay as silent and hidden as the night itself. As Yosens movements are as as silent as ones heartbeat, and he tends to blend in with his surroundings as if he were truly apart of them.

Sensory Ninja – During Yosens days in the Sapper corps he was often doing scouting for his squad in the dessert, and need to able to constantly know his surroundings around him which lead to Yosen using his enhanced chakra control to start sensing and mapping the areas around him during his missions for the corps, which ultimately lead to Yosen gaining great skill in sensory jutsu. Allowing for him to easily use his chakra to gather information around him.


The Scorching Devil of the sand would be a nickname give to Yosen during his time taking the chuunin exam. He and each one of his team members where considered devious devils for how they participated in the team portions of the exams. This lead to members of the other nations in attendance to reffer to the members of Yosen’s genin team as the Devils of the sand. Yosen would go on to get the moniker Scorching Devil due to his showing of his skill with the Kyokujitsu clans ability of the Scorch release.

The Blade of Bonespire – The blade of Bonespire is a nickname given to Yosen by the likes of the village of Suna, as he was very known in his days of being with the sapper corps for his work on the Bonespire, as well as many of the villagers knowing it was one of his favorite places to spend time training.

Dessert Fox – Dessert fox is the Alias given to Yosen by the members of the Anbu black ops. It is a name that is only known and utilized by other members of the Anbu corps or high ranked officials who have the clearance to know of Yosen’s Anbu status. It is a name that has stuck with him since his first day in Anbu till even now as he has rose to the rank of Captain. The name coming from the tan fox mask that Yosen was given upon joining the Anbu corps.

Yosen’s fighting style resolves mainly around the art of the blade, with Yosen primary using forms of buki as his main way to attack his opponents in a direct manor, as he prefers to use his overwhelming skill with the blade in conjunction with his high speed to get the upper hand on his opponents. While also choosing to mix in his skill with ninjutsu into his attack combinations as well so that he may better catch his opponents of guard. As Yosen loves to incorporate his different elements into his weapon play as it allows for many different outcomes in battle. Yosen’s scorch release being one of the main elements of his that he likes to utilize in battle as it is also a big reason for his name, The Scorching devil of the sun.
