|  Clan Name: Hotaru Clan Clan element/'s: Fire and Lightning Special characteristics/traits: Location: Suna Bloodline Name: Firefly Familiars Bloodline Ability: Hotaru clan members all have the fire and lightning element. This is due to the fact of their KKG to control fire/Lightning bugs known as fireflies. The Hotaru clan members when born all have a special birthmark on their body that resembles their family symbol. This actually being a very special seal that all members with the KKG are born. With this seal the Hotaru clan members have now become host to a very special bug known as the Photuris Firefly. Now through the use of Jutsu the Hotaru members are able to expel the fireflies that their body constantly creates by opening up special pours to release these devastating bugs. Now these bugs can be used for all different types of purposes, whether it be tracking people or gathering information. Or even for combat through the use of offensive or defensive moves Resistance: Due to the fact that the Photuris does live inside of the body of its host, the members of the Hotaru clan have become able to have a higher resistance of the fire and Lightning element due to the fact that the Photuris do have the ability to become on fire, or even become shocking. Photuris: The Photuris is a very large firefly, being about an inch long. They are a carnivore’s bug eating all types of things even devouring the flesh of humans that get in their way. It is said that if enough Photuris are around that they could devour the flesh of one human being in minutes. Though on top of eating meat the Photuris also feed off of Chakra so that they may strengthen themselves. Now Photuris males and females both look different. Males are what one would refer to as a Firefly, while females are what one would prefer to as a glowworm. Each having their own uses to their ninja. Chemicals: The Photuris have multiple chemicals inside of their body that can be used for combat, or even healing. These chemicals can easily be shot from their body to help ninja track enemy’s or even distract opponents, as well as cause damage. As these chemicals tend to be very burning when they make contact with skin. Secret Clan Jutsu:(List the jutsu that only clan members may use) Clan History:The Hotaru clan was started deep in the desserts of suna in a small oasis that was in the dessert. A group of wanderers found the oasis and made it home so that they could survive the dessert. And over time this became a very special place for a clan of ninja known as the Hotaru clan. But one fatal thing that no one ever realized about the oasis was that one of the bugs that lived on this oasis was different than others. This bug was like none that any of these ninjas had ever seen. And soon it started to make ways into the body of these ninjas. At first it was a horrifying thing that caused many of the Hotaru clan to die. As the bugs destroyed their insides, and it was nothing that the ninja could do as they reproduced the bugs managed to pass their eggs along having the children be born with the same fate as the adults born with the bugs. This was a very bad outcome, as a lot of the kids died but over time more and more started to survive with the bugs inside of their body. And over time they learned how to use these bugs in jutsu and combat so that they could better themselves as ninja. Jutsu:- Spoiler:

Description: This is a simple tracking jutsu used by the Hotaru clan. It will cause the male Firefly's to drop eggs that will have a slight glow that will most likely only be able to be seen by a member of the Hotaru clan, and if not other Fireflys will be able to follow the trail.
Weakness: If bug are destroyed cant drop eggs

Description:This jutsu opens up the pours inside of the Hotaru members bodies so that Fireflys may make a way outside of the body. These are simple fireflys that may be used for other jutsu but may only do simple thinggs like relay messages through lights. Now the amount of FirFlys put out of the body depends on the rank of the ninja. D:100 C:200 B:300 A:400 S:600

Description:This is a simple jutsu of the Hotaru that will allow them to make their firefly's explode by grouping amounts of them together and sending a surge of chakra through them they will cause and explosion like an explosive tag. Every 10 bugs equal the power of one explosive tag. Now the firflys that explode must be inchies away from each other or their power wont add up to each.
Weakness: Bugs can easily be destoyed before jutsu happens

Description:This jutus will take 5 of the Hotaru FireFlies that are no less then 3 inches away from each other and surge raiton chakra into them. This will cause a big bang of lightning that will blind anyone that sees it within 5 meters for their next post

Description: 20 firflies will gather around and form a perfect clone of the user. This will be a simple clone that can do only Hotaru clan jutsu. Once this clone is destroyed it will send out a C rank burst of lightning that will hit anything that is withen 5 meters of the clone when it is destroyed

Description: This jutsu requires 20 fireflies (Though more can be used but if their are not 20 spinning around the body it does not work) that will spin around a target at high speeds 10 will spen around the lower part of the body and 10 around the higher part this will cause a lightning cage that sends a surge through the body not allowing it to move an inch, even making speach impossible But at the same time the bugs will take C rank chakra from the person trapped every post.

Description: A logically simple application of the fireflies present in a Hotaru clansmen’s body, this ability hypercharges the mandibles and digestive tracts of the insects with high amounts of chakra, allowing them to rapidly consume nearly anything that they should come into contact with. The swarm will expand outward from the user’s body, a mass of black bodies and glowing thorax flying towards incoming threats and possible hostile targets. These bugs, with the addition of large amounts of chakra, are capable of consuming flesh down to the bone in mere seconds should they find it and, due their ability to feed on chakra as well, can consume elemental techniques of B rank or lower or, in the case of fire or lightning based jutsu, A rank or lower (S ranked will be reduced in effectiveness by 2 ranks in the case of fire and lightning releases; other elements by one). As such, the swarm becomes truly insatiable, rushing about and consuming all chakra or flesh based entities in a wide radius around the castor.
Weakness: Insects cannot consume inorganic objects. The insects in this frenzied state, cannot be used for other clan jutsu (those not empowered with this technique are unaffected). The insects cannot discriminate between friend or foe.

Description: The user commands the female fireflies within his or her body to begin encircling himself, spinning a silken cocoon all the while. The cocoon, comprised of an immensely strong and sticky silk and empowered with lightening chakra can easily capture incoming physical assaults by the opponent, requiring at least a B ranked movement or strength enhancing/cutting technique to escape from. After half a post of spinning the cocoon, the shell will complete, entombing the user and providing a powerful devensive barrier, proving utterly imprenetrable to conventional fire or lightning techniques or physical tactics and requiring at least an S rank technique of high piercing or drilling might from other elements to break through. Regardless, as the females spin the cocoon, the males will fly outwards, dragging with them strands of the silken fluid as they fly, effectively creating a kind of highly sticky web surrounding the powerful defensive cocoon in the center. Upon the completion of the cocoon, it and the extending webs will be charged with a powerful current of raiton chakra, electrifying anyone and everyone with whom they come in contact, the extensions of the male bugs resulting in a widespread mess of electrical doom. Anyone coming into direct contact with the threads at the time of electrification will suffer extreme, widespread first degree burns of the body and paralysis for two posts. Additionally, anyone foolish enough to hang around amongst the wires will find themselves the subject of large, arching bolts of electricity capable of inflicting similarly devastating electrical burns and paralysis for one posts.
Weakness: The user, once the cocoon completes, must remain stationary for the duration of the ability, though it can be ended prematurely. The males used to ferry the silk threads will die in this process.

Description: The user floods a selected group of fireflies with immense levels of both lightning and fire based chakra, increasing the fire chakra to maximum and ultimately fatal levels. By doing so, the insects will glow even more intensely than normal, bright enough to cause one to avert one’s eyes and even cause blinding to those capable of seeing chakra. Additionally, the insects will become deadly bullets of a piercing power nearly unheard of in the shinobi world, easily capable of shredding through barriers of lower rank and burrowing through evenly ranked barriers within one post, the incredible piercing power of the lightning chakra combined with the excessive bodily temperatures granted by the fire chakra allowing the insects to literally melt their way through nearly anything they come into contact with. Additionally, the bugs gain incredible speed, equal to the user’s mastery over ninjutsu, and are essentially shot from wherever they are towards the intended target(s) like living bullets, seeking out nearby chakra sources, particularly those of living beings, and melting their way into the victims’ bodies. Once inside a body, the insects create a localized paralytic effect, preventing usages of the affected limbs which can, with the induction of high levels of fireflies, result in full body paralysis [1 post per limb, then spreads to adjacent body parts], and burrow haphazardly through the body, melting vital organs and resulting in a swift and gruesomely painful death.
Weakness: Insects used for this die after the three posts. Insects can be destroyed as normal midflight by techniques of A rank or higher, or B rank or higher water techniques. Once inside a body, the insects can still be removed, saving the victim, but only by a master level medical technique or completely submerging the victim in an A rank or higher water release technique (note: this does not undo damage caused from previous burrowing).
